R\&D Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Implement and debug algorithms (existing and new).
Research and develop algorithms for digital imaging, signal processing, and data analysis.
Collaborate with software/hardware teams to align requirements.
Conduct algorithm design and simulation; follow software development processes.
Document algorithms and facilitate team communication.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Math, Physics, CS, Precision Instrument, Optical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Experience in algorithm development; digital image/signal processing preferred.
Proficient in mathematical statistics and error analysis with experience in metrology and quantitative data analysis.
Strong programming skills.
Experience in optics (e.g., image recognition, interferometer image processing) preferred.
