Position Overview
We’re looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist who’s confident programming with Mastercam, setting up, and proving out parts on both vertical CNC machines with rotary tables and horizontal machining centers, including cell systems. This is a hands-on role in a collaborative environment — sometimes you’ll be programming and passing work to others to run, and other times you’ll be handling setups or assisting with prove-outs yourself.

The right applicant will take a leadership position in advancing our overall company competency and offer insight on how things could be made better.
Key Responsibilities
Program precision aerospace components using Mastercam
Set up and prove out CNC programs on vertical and horizontal CNC machines
Select tooling, optimize feeds and speeds, and ensure quality and efficiency
Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models
Communicate clear and accurate setup instructions or notes for machinists running the programs
Maintain quality and dimensional accuracy throughout production
Uphold shop safety and cleanliness standards
Minimum Requirements
Proficient in Mastercam programming
Skilled at setup and prove-out on both vertical and horizontal CNC machines
Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling practices
Extensive experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges,height gauges, etc.)
Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specs
Able to clearly convey instructions and technical details to others
Team-oriented, adaptable, and dependable
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with SOLIDWORKS (for fixture or part design)
Experience using Proshop ERP.
Familiarity with LightBurn (for engraving or laser work)
Experience with CMM programming and operation, particularly PC-DMIS
Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.
Strong understanding of GD\&T
Experience with fixture design and process improvement

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
