Data Engineer

For our client, we are looking for a Data Engineer (m/f/d).

Your mission is to build data pipelines that deliver — reliable, consistent, and transparent. You’ll set up solid foundations for fast, data-driven decisions and bring order to the chaos of scattered data sources.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines

Set up analytical data stores (e.g. BigQuery) to enable fast and accurate insights

Automate data quality assurance — from completeness to freshness and validation checks

Structure events and user data for use in search, feeds, and recommendations

Ensure consistency across multiple sources like Logs, Firestore, and PostgreSQL

Profile

Strong proficiency in

SQL

and

PostgreSQL

, combined with solid

Python

Skills

Experience with

cloud-native environments

– ideally

Google Cloud

, but

AWS

or

Azure

work too

Familiar with tools like

Airflow

,

dbt

, and other workflow or modeling frameworks

Understands data as streams and events —

APIs

streaming

caching

are part of your toolbox
