Responsibilities:
Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation for Body domain ECUs using dSPACE HIL systems (PHS/Scalexio).
Connect ECUs, sensors, and actuators to LabCar; manage wiring harness and breakout box testing.
Commission HIL rigs and debug hardware/software integration issues.
Develop HIL test specifications, create test cases, procedures, and reports.
Automate HIL tests using Python or CAPL scripting.
Analyze failures and perform root cause analysis in test environments.
Ensure compliance with Agile process, V\&V lifecycle, and ASPICE standards.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL hardware (ControlDesk,
AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk).
Knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols, UDS services, and ECU
diagnostics.
Strong debugging skills for ECU functional software and HIL
environment.
Familiarity with CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape for communication
setup and analysis.
Experience in test automation frameworks and scripting
(Python/CAPL).
Requirement management tools: DOORS, PREEVision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in Agile teams and communicate effectively
with stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in: -
Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer
Science Engineering or equivalent.
2–9 years of experience required (Mid to Advanced level)
Preferred Skill:
Experience in BCM validation or HVAC system testing.
Knowledge of CAN-FD, FlexRay, Ethernet.
Understanding of HIL simulator models (dSPACE) and ARXML
models.
Exposure to multi-ECU HIL setups and integration testing.
