As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing precise 2D drawings and 3D models to support engineering, design, and project management teams. By applying accurate and efficient modeling and documentation practices, you will help ensure projects progress smoothly and remain fully compliant with internal company procedures and relevant industry standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Produce 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor)
Interpret design sketches, technical data, and specifications
Review and update existing CAD models in line with design standards, project requirements, and internal guidelines
Prepare as-built drawings
Create bills of materials (BOMs), part lists, and production documents
Develop simplified representative models, massings, design layouts, and master assemblies
Coordinate with other departments, project managers, and site teams
Maintain CAD libraries, drawing registers, and project documentation
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Delivery Acceptance Tests (DAT)
YOUR PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
Completed technical education in manufacturing, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
German language skills
Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), including Vault systems and Microsoft BC (advantageous)
Familiarity with 2D design software (AutoCAD is an advantage)
