Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fashion Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in a competitive fashion retail or wholesale environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fashion trends, customer buying behavior, and strong leadership skills to manage a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market share.
Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients (B2B and/or B2C depending on context).
Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform buying and merchandising decisions.
Maintain relationships with key clients, retail partners, and distributors.
Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasting, and budgeting.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and in-store events.
Oversee visual merchandising and ensure alignment with brand identity and sales objectives.
Stay updated on fashion trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
Manage pricing strategies, discounting, and product positioning for optimal profitability.
Requirements:
Proven experience (1–2 + years) in fashion sales, retail management, or wholesale distribution.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
In-depth knowledge of fashion retail, merchandising, and customer behavior.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze sales metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Proficient in CRM software, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in luxury or contemporary fashion brands.
Existing network of fashion buyers, distributors, or retail contacts.
Ability to travel (if managing regional or national sales).
