Job Description:
7 to 10 years relevant mandatory experience.
Automation Framework (Virtualized Android Environment, Linux/QNX, Qualcomm SOM)
Team: Automation Scrum Team – In-Flight Entertainment (IFE)
Work closely with Android platform engineers, QNX/Linux teams, Qualcomm chipset specialists, and virtualization architects.
Understand the automation framework architecture (hardware abstraction, virtualized interfaces, DUT orchestration, reporting pipelines).
Write clear, well-structured epics, features, and user stories for automation tooling, framework improvements, APIs, and test execution workflows.
Refine backlog items with engineering teams to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with the automation strategy.
Collaborate with Scrum Master and Engineering Lead to drive predictable, sprint-based delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Product Leadership \& Strategy
Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Automation Framework for virtualized Android- and Linux-based IFE systems.
Prioritize automation features and capabilities based on business value, technical feasibility, team capacity, and program timelines.
Define KPIs for automation coverage, stability, efficiency, and adoption across multiple platform teams.
Guide the team on automation needs for:
Virtualized Android environments
Linux and QNX subsystems
Qualcomm SOM-based hardware
IFE system integration and certification workflows
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary liaison between automation engineering and product/program stakeholders across PAC.
Gather requirements from system verification, platform SW teams, airline program teams, and integration labs.
Communicate roadmap, progress, risks, and dependencies with clarity and frequency.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
