Job Summary (Backend Java Developer – Wells Fargo)
Develop and implement features for a new cloud-native tax computation and tax return generation application.
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 11/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
Utilize Kafka and MongoDB for event streaming and data persistence.
Automate functions using Python as needed.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional agile teams (product owner, scrum master, analysts, developers, test automation engineers) in two-week sprints.
Engage in frequent software releases using CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Work with a variety of modern technologies including Docker, OpenShift, RabbitMQ, Angular (frontend exposure), and more.
Apply Agile principles and Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Communicate complex technical ideas effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Continuously drive innovation and suggest solutions for complex product requirements.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
Strong skills in backend technologies (Java 11, Spring Boot, REST, Kafka, MongoDB).
Experience in Agile environments and use of automation tools.
Excellent communication skills and active LinkedIn profile.
