Python Developer (DevOps)

I. What You’ll Do

We are looking for a technically strong

Python Developer

to join our operations team. In this role, you will be the

first line of support

for researchers and internal users, managing and resolving issues via our JIRA service desk.

Your work will focus on

driving operational efficiency

through automation and smart tooling, ensuring timely and effective support.

Key responsibilities:

Manage incoming issues, resolve them directly, or escalate complex cases to the DevOps team while maintaining ownership.

Improve issue resolution efficiency by building automation tools, bots, and scripts to categorize and handle JIRA tickets.

Support researchers and internal teams with high-quality, proactive problem-solving.

II. What You’ll Bring

Must have:

Solid programming skills in

Python (3+ years)

, with experience in backend frameworks

(Django, FastAPI, or Flask).

Familiarity with

Unix/Linux systems

and shell scripting.

Hands-on experience with

SQL

and relational databases.

Working knowledge of

JIRA, Git, and monitoring tools

(e.g., Grafana).

Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and proactive attitude.

Strong English communication and coordination skills.

Nice to have:

Experience in DevOps or operational support roles.

Familiarity with web technologies (JavaScript, Node.js, Django).

Exposure to

AI/ML

techniques.

Experience using

Generative AI tools

(e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to boost support efficiency.

Working Time:

8:30 AM - 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday, lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
