LEAD FRONT END ENGINEER### About Us:

We’re looking for a Front-End Developerto join our team as the customer experience backbone of our digital platforms. You will work on all major app platforms, shaping our external apps, and partner with product leaders to solve important customer challenges.

Required Skills:

Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.

Mobile Development: Proficiency in building and shipping multiple production-quality native mobile applications (iOS \& Android). Familiarity with the structure and deployment of both iOS and Android apps is a strong plus. WatchOS \& Messaging experience is a strong plus.

Front-End Expertise: Strong command of modern web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/Sass) and experience with a modern framework.

Design Tools \& Systems: Proven ability to work directly from design tools like Figma. Deep understanding of design tokens, component libraries, and design system principles.

UX/UI Acumen: A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate a clear focus on the user experience and attention to pixel-perfect design detail.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when articulating design or UX-related issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Front-End Implementation (60%): Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement features for our iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), Android, Web (React/Vue) applications and others.

Design Translation: Act as the critical bridge between Design and Engineering, ensuring all features are implemented with high visual fidelity and adhere to established design systems and platform-specific Human Interface Guidelines (iOS) and Material Design (Android).

Code Quality \& Review: Create a culture of code reviews, providing constructive feedback with a focus on code efficiency, maintainability, and design accuracy.

Collaboration: Work closely with UX Design, Product, and international developers in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Prototyping \& Feedback: Convert design prototypes (e.g., from Figma) into production code, suggesting technical optimizations and providing early feedback on feasibility and complexity to the design team.

Preferred:

Experience in building ecommerce applications.

Previous work with expanding digital footprint to multiple devices.

Background in scaling high-traffic ecommerce environments.

Location: Napa, CA / American Canyon, CA (Hybrid position may be available)

Reports to: Director of Product

Compensation:

Salary Range: $120,000 – $135,000

Bonus: 10% of annual salary, paid annually
