Job Description

Join us at Legal \& General Asset Management as we continue to grow our private markets offering. We’re looking for a Head of Private Credit Product to lead the design, development and management of innovative private credit products that meet client needs and support our strategic ambitions. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll shape product strategy, manage a talented team, and collaborate across the business to deliver market-leading solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading the design and delivery of private credit products across multiple jurisdictions

Managing and developing a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture

Driving product strategy and lifecycle management to support commercial growth

Coordinating cross-functional projects and ensuring timely delivery of product initiatives

Embedding robust governance and compliance standards across all product activities

Engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners to build strong relationships

Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform product development

Providing technical expertise on private credit structures, regulation and operational requirements

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

Proven experience in private markets product strategy, development and management

Strong technical knowledge of private credit investment strategies and product structures

Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, including AIFMD, across multiple jurisdictions

Track record of delivering complex projects and managing product lifecycles

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels

Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate diverse teams

Commercial awareness and strategic thinking to drive business growth

Professional qualifications such as IMC, CFA or CAIA (or equivalent) highly desirable
