About the role

This is a full-time, permanent position and can be based in our

Palmerston North HQ or Auckland office

As we expand globally, we’re searching for an experienced and forward-thinking

Hardware Product Manager

to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about building scalable, real-world hardware products, enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment, we would love to meet you.

You’ll be a pivotal member of our hardware team, overseeing the full lifecycle of our IoT devices, from concept to market and beyond. The ideal candidate is an experienced Hardware Engineer with a strong background in technology or manufacturing who’s ready to step into a product management role, working closely across multiple teams including the Head of Engineering and CEO to shape Levno’s next generation of hardware products.

What You’ll Do

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our hardware products from concept and prototyping to launch and ongoing improvement.

Lead go-to-market strategy for new devices, collaborating with marketing, sales and operations teams.

Drive build/buy/partner decisions, including OEM sourcing, supplier management and negotiations.

Collaborate across teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies to align product, engineering, and business outcomes.

Be hands-on, perform full installs, understand device issues intimately and advocate for the farmer’s experience.

Manage production, ensuring quality, scalability and cost-effectiveness throughout manufacturing.

Champion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Work closely with software teams to deliver seamless IoT integrations.

What You Bring

Proven and hands-on experience in hardware product management in high-volume environments.

Background in technology or manufacturing (communications or marcoms experience considered if paired with strong factory or production exposure).

Strong understanding of global supply chains and supplier management.

Experience in project management (without being a “Project Manager” by title - we get the difference).

Familiarity with Scrum or Agile methodologies.

Experience in agritech is a plus, but not essential.

A self-starter attitude and willingness to travel to farms and our Palmerston North HQ as needed.
