About The Role You will work in a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for building and maintaining backend services that support customer-facing and internal applications. The role combines hands-on development with collaboration, technical oversight, and continuous improvement. A hybrid working model is supported, consisting of 36 hours/week balancing flexibility with team collaboration.
As a Java Developer, you are responsible for…
Hands-on experience designing, provisioning, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure
Responsible for creating and managing Azure resources end-to-end
Infrastructure ownership (not just consumption)
Developing and maintaining backend applications using
Java 17+
Designing, building, and maintaining
API-driven services
Applying modern frameworks such as
Spring and Spring Boot
Ensuring code quality, reliability, and security across the application landscape
You will:
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Java code
Develop and maintain automated tests using tools such as
JUnit, Mockito, WireMock, Cucumber, and TestContainers
Work with
cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
(Azure)
Collaborate closely with other engineers, architects, and product stakeholders
Review code and contribute to technical discussions and decisions
Help improve system performance, stability, and observability
