Sherpaa bikes: Who we are:
We are the Singapore-based, venture-backed creators of a range of highly-distinctive cargo bikes which offer a lot more consumer benefits than your regular cargo bikes. Our philosophy is not to offer the best-looking bikes, but the most useful bikes which are competent looking, at accessible prices, and targeted at families with kids.
Founded on a belief in offering “More” to consumers during these financially-challenged times, you will find our products easier to sell or manage.
We have started launching our products with great success, and are looking for a Sales Manager to help us grow our business. Your priority markets are both Netherlands and Belgium, then France and/or Germany. If you have robust networks in other markets, we are prepared to consider them as well.

Note: this role is for contract and freelance engagements, with the potential to become full-time.
As a start-up focused on both on and offline sales, we will require support in many areas of the business. You will therefore offer a diverse skillset, as you will be actively involved in many areas of the business. For instance, you can create dazzling campaigns and videos, yet also attend to mundane duties such as organizing order deliveries. You will generate exciting new products, yet also be able to engage the NVWA on product compliance.
In short, you are as versatile as a Swiss Army Knife, yet come with the precision of a Samurai Sword. Don’t worry if you can’t support all these functions, we can work with external agencies for those you can’t.
: be able to support the logistics and warehousing needs of the business, when the sales team is unable to. Initially, you will work with the partners provided by the factories where our bikes are manufactured. Ultimately, you will be asked to cultivate a bank of independent partners to support these needs. Even better if you come with your own contacts
: be able to manage stable and simple accounts, which are handed to you by Sales. This will allow Sales to focus on sourcing for new accounts;
: be able to serve as a link between customers and suppliers, to ensure that after sales support is responsive;
: be comfortable driving the development of NPD with the factories, with inputs from Sales and Management. You should have access to good OEM factories;
: be able to provide graphic design capabilities, to support all in-house design work;
: be able to front and engage with the NVWA and other regulatory bodies, ensuring that our company is compliant with latest requirements. You will coordinate product recalls, if necessary. This is important, during these turbulent years of the Dutch cargo bike industry
: be able to generate demand for both on and offline sales. This will involve
Online audiences
· Digital marketing: you will need to engage social media and search platforms to promote the content you have created
· Content creation, through a mix of digital videos, photos and copywriting;
Offline audiences
· Integrated Trade and Consumer Promotional Planning: you will be asked to create the promotional calendar and campaigns for the company
· Speak the language of the factories: if you can communicate in Chinese, this is a plus

· Work from anywhere. Yes, we are happy for you to work from home, wherever that may be, as long as you are able to achieve your targets. Germany and The Netherlands are preferred locations, but we are happy to consider other locations as long as the time zones work.
