Role Overview

The Product Specialist will support the Senior Product Manager in the day-to-day management and development of a diverse portfolio of approximately 500 tours and experiences. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in tourism product operations who enjoys working hands-on across product setup, optimisation, maintenance, copywriting, analysis, and cross-functional coordination. The Product Specialist will help ensure products are accurate, compelling, commercially competitive, and operationally sound.

Key Responsibilities

Support the management, prioritisation, and optimisation of a portfolio of nearly 500 tourism products in line with established frameworks.

Assist with the setup and enhancement of new products, ensuring they meet quality, logistical, and market requirements.

Ability to manage complex product changes and collaborate with Fulfilment, Inventory, Client Experience, Regional Development and Guide Management teams to ensure changes are smooth with minimal disruption to the clients.

Ensure product data, pricing, logistics, and operational details are accurate and up to date across all systems.

Clearly communicate product updates to internal stakeholders and support alignment across cross functional teams.

Use tools such as Zoho Analytics to track product performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Support the Senior Product Manager and Executive team in new product pricing and the execution of bi-annual pricing reviews.

Assist in maintaining pricing \& availability accuracy and alignment across sales and distribution channels.

Conduct competitor and market research to support product positioning and development decisions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and efficiencies.

Skills \& Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience working in tourism in a product, operations, or product support role.

Possesses a strong analytical mindset, demonstrated expertise in Excel, and maintains a high level of confidence in data analysis and related tasks.

Proficient in managing multiple systems, emerging technologies, and task management software, with a demonstrated ability to develop and adhere to standard operating procedures.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Collaborative working style with the confidence to engage with cross-functional teams.

Strong written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in product copywriting or content creation.

Personal Attributes

Energetic, motivated, and proactive, with a creative approach to problem-solving.

Comfortable taking initiative and working independently while knowing when to seek input or guidance.

Collaborative and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour.

Open to travel as required and in possession of a valid passport.

Fully fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Legally eligible to live and work in Ireland.
