Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Databricks.
Implement data ingestion and transformation workflows using Spark in distributed environments.
Ensure data governance, lineage, and data integrity across all stages of the architecture.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Risk, Technology, and Business teams to deliver integrated data solutions.
Contribute to the automation of manual processes and modernization of legacy reporting tools through scalable code.

Skills
Essential:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or data management in financial services or big data environments.
Proven expertise in SQL development (complex queries, optimization, CTEs, window functions).
Practical experience with Databricks, Spark, or equivalent distributed platforms.
Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and data quality practices.
Proficiency with Excel, VBA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
STEM degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.).
High level of English.
Desirable:
Additional training or certifications in data or cloud technologies.
Experience working in cloud-based data ecosystems.
