About The Team
We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer – Frontend to join the Lowe’s Digital Recommendation and Personalization, Tesla \& data science team, various customer experience initiatives.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in modern frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Micro Frontend architecture, and CSS/HTML, with a good understanding of backend integration using Java Spring Boot.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, performant, and user-centric interfaces that power Lowe’s personalization ecosystem and enhance the customer shopping experience across digital touchpoints.
Roles \& Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain responsive and reusable UI components using React.js, TypeScript, and Micro Frontend principles.
Implement personalized UI features and recommendations that enhance customer engagement on Lowe’s digital platforms.
Integrate frontend applications with Spring Boot–based backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and performance optimization.
Collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and data science teams to deliver consistent and intuitive experiences.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and Lowe’s internal coding standards.
Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and sprint planning to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Contribute to application performance optimization, accessibility improvements, and cross-browser compatibility.
Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes using modern DevOps tools and pipelines.
Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing reliable, scalable solutions.
Years Of Experience
2-4 years of experience in software development on the front end technologies.
2-4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) through iterative agile development.
Education Qualification \& Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
Primary Skills
2–4 years of hands-on experience in frontend development using JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js Micro Frontend architecture, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS
Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and component-based development.
Experience with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Secondary Skills (Good To Have)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend systems (preferably Java Spring Boot).
