Job Description
Manage creation, modification, extension, and deletion of material master data in SAP MM.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency through governance practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for material data integration.
Support data migration with proper mapping and validation.
Develop and follow procedures for material data entry and checks.
Maintain documentation of processes, changes, and standards.
Cleanse, classify, verify, and enrich material data using tools like Sphera(spares Finder) MM, MDG, MDO and Prospecta.
Identify and remove duplicate or obsolete spares.
Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for equipment and assemblies.
Interpret technical documents (drawings, datasheets) to populate attributes.
Standardize and code MRO spares using industry best practices.
Required Skills
Experience with Sphera(sparesFinder) MM cleansing tool.
Familiarity with valves, bearings, gaskets, electrical drives, and various spare types.
Proficient in data cleansing and noun-modifier identification.
