For a company specializing in cutting-edge image processing technology, we are looking for a motivated Software Engineer (.NET) to focus on data acquisition and processing tools for state-of-the-art micro-CT systems.
Recognized as a global leader in imaging processing across various domains, from material science to life sciences (microbiology, pharmacology, etc.), this company plays a key role in advancing research. The Ghent department primarily focuses on material studies, including the development of CT scanners used to analyze CO₂ storage in archaeological materials. Their products are widely used in academic and research environments.
As part of an Agile-Scrum team of software engineers, researchers, and algorithm experts, you will contribute to the development of advanced data analysis and processing software, transforming imaging data into high-resolution 3D and 4D representations. You will develop new features in .NET (C#) and be involved in the full development cycle, from concept to implementation.
Profiel
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
experience in.NET (C#) (medior level + 3 years of experience).
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles.
Willing to learn and design new systems with a keen attention to detail.
Nice to have familiarity with C/C++ and Python.
