About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our Gentu Practice Management team. You’ll help build and evolve our industry-leading SaaS platform used by medical specialists across Australia. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll work closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high-impact features and continuously improve the developer experience.

Deliver high-quality features using Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Node.js, and AWS

Collaborate with your team to solve problems and share knowledge

Design, build, test, and maintain scalable software solutions

Influence team practices and contribute to continuous improvement

Manage cross-team dependencies and communicate clearly with stakeholders

Stay current with emerging technologies and DevOps practices

About You

You’re a purpose-driven developer who thrives in agile environments and enjoys working with modern tech to solve real-world problems.

Experience with Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Node.js, and React

Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms

Solid understanding of software development practices (TDD, CI/CD, DevOps)

Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases

A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

A formal qualification in Computer Science or related field
