Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a Production Engineer - Data Services for a temporary assignment in Princeton, Indiana.

This position is a 6-8-month contract to hire assignment. The pay range for this role is between $65.00 - $70.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

This role will be 100% onsite from day one, and will require weekend on-call shifts. Please do not apply if you're not comfortable with this schedule.

What we’re looking for* AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, Kubernetes)

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation

Troubleshooting Linux/Windows systems

AWS CLI, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect preferred)

What you’ll be doing* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and querying. Support maintenance of Snowflake data warehouses.

Provide support for Tableau Servers

Manage and maintain Kafka clusters, ensuring data streaming reliability and scalability

Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues and optimize performance

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to big data frameworks

Monitor and manage EMR clusters, ensuring high availability and performance

Provide technical support for integration solutions using MFT protocols (SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS) and MuleSoft Any point Platform

Support the automation of file transfers and scheduling tasks using enterprise schedulers and tools.

Diagnosing and resolving API-related problems, working closely with development teams to implement fixes.

Continuously monitor API performance and usage, using tools to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.

Provide training and support to internal teams on API usage and best practices

Monitor the performance and health of APIs using tools such as Datadog and Dynatrace

Collaborate with the Major Incident Management team to address and resolve critical issues in the production environment.

Participate in incident response activities, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, incident resolutions, and cloud configurations.

Collaborate on reviewing scalable architectures, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting application issues

Monitor system health, perform regular maintenance, and respond to incidents

Provide cross skill training and support to team members on integration solutions and best practices.

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills* Hands-on experience with leading integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, TIBCO, and ESP, enabling robust and scalable solutions.

Extensive knowledge in designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and SOAP services, ensuring seamless integration and communication between systems.

Familiarity with cloud technologies, ensuring scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions.

Expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

Skilled in using tools like Swagger and Postman for comprehensive API documentation and testing.

Ability to implement caching strategies and load balancing for enhanced

Strong problem-solving skills with experience in log analysis and using monitoring tools like Grafana

Understanding of network architecture and protocols within cloud environments.

Understanding of ITSM processes.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Added bonus if you have (Preferred):* ITIL Foundation framework.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect,

MuleSoft Certified Developer

Red Hat Certified Specialist in API Management

Familiarity with MFT protocols and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for continuous integration and deployment.

Experience with AI and machine learning to enhance API functionalities and data analysis.
