What is the project about?
We are looking for a Front-end Developer with UX/UI design experience. As a Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for:
Further developing the front-end of the KPC
Contributing ideas on UI/UX challenges
Coordinating with Back-end Developers from the front-end perspective
Managing deployments within the OTAP process
Promoting front-end expertise within the organization
Advising on issues related to performance, usability, and accessibility
Testing applications for usability and accessibility from a front-end perspective
Delivering demos to stakeholders during biweekly sprint reviews
The objective of the work you will perform is to further develop and optimize the front-end of the KPC so that it meets the functional and technical requirements of the stakeholders. The application must be fully aligned with stakeholder needs and made available in production.
In addition to the continued development of the application, the assignment also focuses on its modernization using the latest technologies and the integration of the proprietary component library.
Furthermore, the assignment includes leading meetings with stakeholders and translating their requirements and wishes into well-defined user stories, as well as creating UX \& UI designs that support these user stories.
The current frontend developer is leaving per 31st of March. You will be the only frontend developer in a team with 2 backend engineers. You take ownership over the user interface and can translate designs in Figma to code via the design system (Kermit).
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as frontend developer
Framework: Vue.js, TypeScript
Tools: Pinia, Vue Router, VueI18n, Kermit (company design system), Tailwind CSS
Testing: Vitest (unit), Playwright (E2E)
Development methodology: Scrum with Jira for backlog and sprint management
CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions
UX/UI: Figma
