Role Purpose

================

Support Sales Manager Hong Kong to lead the sales team and explore the market, maintain and develop sales channels, planning and implementation of the sales initiatives, marketing plans and sales analytics with the achievement of sales targets.

Key Accountability

======================

Support Sales Manager HKG to lead sales team and to be the pioneer in daily work and bear the responsibility of the main job.

Support Sales Manager HKG to develop the sales strategies for Hong Kong market. Creating and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.

Pay close attention to the changes in international relations, international \& China economy trend, grasp the market dynamics, capture the development of the industry and the update of competitors. Timely report important information to the line manager and adjust the operation and sales strategy.

Lead the sales team to effectively promote the airline's products and services, including MHexplorer, MHcruise, MHsport, MHrail, MHcorporate, BST, etc.

Establish and maintain relationships with travel agencies, OTAs, corporate clients, TMCs, MICE services agencies, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to increase sales opportunities and strengthen the airline's presence in the market.

Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and other terms i.e. AFIS, hard block buys up, MHbiz Plus discounts, CUG with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other partners to ensure profitable sales arrangements for the airline.

Participate in industry exhibitions, tourism bureaus' roadshows, embassy events, and organize joint roadshows with partners, so that to develop new partners, expand business opportunities, and promote the company brand.

Organize and participate in the regular agency training, update the latest products, prices, packages to agencies, and promote the company's brand, and understand the needs of agencies.

Monitor the market trends, keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.

Work closely with the marketing department to develop promotional campaigns, advertising initiatives, and other marketing activities to support sales efforts and enhance brand awareness.

Organize the annual appreciation dinner for the top agencies to thank all their strong support in the past year, closer the relationship with them, and look forward to deeper cooperation in the coming year.

Establish and maintain the cooperation with Hong Kong local airlines to support HK flights sales and achieve win-win cooperation, like domestic add-on, SPA, codeshare, etc.

Establish collaborations with cross-industry partners, such as schools, hotels, banks, high-end clubs, etc., to expand the sales opportunities.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing sales activities, including pricing regulations, fare rules, and contractual obligations.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to sales activities, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Generate sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation to provide management with insights into sales performance and market trends.

Report to Sales Manager HKG to response and action on job related action items assigned by superior in timely manner.
