Your role at Maniko:
As our new Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be the driving force behind data-driven insights across the company. You will develop scalable data models, build self-service analytics structures, and create smart data products that enable our teams to make truly data-driven decisions. Your responsibilities:
You will be a close business partner for our teams and work with colleagues to translate their requirements into actionable data solutions and support them in decision making
You will build and maintain scalable data models to support analytics and reporting requirements
You will develop and optimize data products to enable self-service analytics within the company
You will develop our data infrastructure to ensure efficient data processing and delivery
You will ensure data quality through test frameworks, validation processes, and comprehensive documentation
You will confidently challenge assumptions and advocate for data-informed approaches, even with senior stakeholders
Requirements What you bring:
Experience:
You have at least 3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Generalist
SQL \& Data Transformation:
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data transformation tools like dbt, as well as visualization tools (preferably Tableau)
Data Modeling \& Structuring:
A deep understanding of data modeling concepts enables you to efficiently structure datasets for analytics and reporting
Data Quality \& Reliability:
You have a data-first mindset and take pride in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all analytics outputs
Collaboration \& Stakeholder Management:
Working closely with stakeholders to define metrics and enable data-driven decisions is one of your strengths
Teamwork \& Communication:
You are a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Business Impact \& Prioritization:
You prioritize initiatives based on business impact and deliver insights and recommendations that drive meaningful action
