About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Onboarding Lead
to join our
Product Solutions
team within
Securities Services
. This cross-product function is responsible for the design, build, governance, and delivery of the
Data Mesh platform
, a strategic data solution supporting multiple business areas across the organization.
As the
Onboarding Lead for Asia
, you will play a pivotal role in guiding business units through their Data Mesh adoption journey, ensuring seamless onboarding, ongoing support, and alignment with governance standards and best practices. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT, architecture teams, and platform partners to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience \& Onboarding
Lead the onboarding of producer and consumer tenants onto the Data Mesh platform.
Translate business requirements into platform capabilities and guide stakeholders through Data Visa and EHC processes.
Ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience across multiple locations.
Stakeholder Engagement \& Coordination
Build excellent relationships with internal partners to facilitate efficient data production, consumption, and governance.
Act as a liaison between business areas, IT, and architecture teams to ensure end-to-end service delivery.
Governance \& Compliance
Enforce data governance standards using tools like Data Dictionary.
Support the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries and business procedures.
Ensure tenant alignment with group standards, data models, and regulatory requirements.
Analysis \& Documentation
Perform system and data analysis to validate logic, identify trends, and produce high-quality documentation (e.g., use case diagrams, process maps).
Support the development of business requirement documents, operating models, test plans, and migration strategies.
Product \& Programme Support
Assist the Product Manager in managing platform governance, roadmap planning, and reporting.
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring transparency and timely resolution.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Job requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience working as an Analyst as part of a large project or programme of work
Experience conducting data analysis on a large scale
Practical experience in enforcing data governance
Experience in working with product, operations and senior business users and stakeholders
Understanding of the Asset Management / Custody / Fund Services industries, and supporting technology and business processes
Ability to extract and analyse data using a variety of tools such as Excel, SQL etc.
Knowledge of diagram tools (like Visio) and knowledge of various modelling techniques
Good business analysis and good interpersonal skills
Strategic mindset with good conceptual, creative and analytical approach
Able to work effectively with business and IT stakeholders across business divisions
Able to host and run workshops and meetings, many via conference / Zoom calls
Able to multi-task and prioritise effectively
Have vision and foresight concerning the design and implementation of system and data solutions, particularly in relation to the impact of revised / new business operating models and data
Knowledge of Python and Google cloud tools is a plus
