Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
DevOps Engineer
to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline development, and container orchestration, along with current or eligible SC security clearance. This is a remote role with occasional travel to London.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
to streamline deployment processes
Manage and optimize
cloud infrastructure
using services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Implement and maintain
container orchestration platforms
(e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
Monitor
system performance
, proactively identify issues, and implement resolutions
Ensure
security and compliance
across cloud and on-premise environments
Work closely with development teams to
accelerate and improve release cycles
Utilize
infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
tools such as
Terraform
or
CloudFormation
Write and maintain scripts using
Bash
and/or
Python
Set up and manage
monitoring and alerting tools
such as
Prometheus
and
Grafana
Maintain strong understanding of
networking
,
system administration
, and
security best practices
Requirements
Proven experience in a
DevOps
or
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
role
Solid experience with at least one major
cloud provider
(AWS, Azure, GCP)
Hands-on experience with
Kubernetes
and
Docker
Proficiency in
Terraform
,
CloudFormation
, or similar IaC tools
Strong scripting skills in
Bash
,
Python
, or similar
Familiarity with
monitoring and logging tools
(e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Active SC clearance
preferred;
SC eligible
candidates will be considered
