As a Field Service Engineer Software Controls, you will play a key role in ensuring the technical quality, efficiency, and sustainability of our projects and operations. You will act as a trusted technical advisor — providing expertise on systems, processes, and infrastructure to help shape safe, reliable, and future-ready engineering solutions.

This position combines hands-on technical support with proactive advisory work, supporting committees, service team and project teams in achieving operational excellence and compliance with the highest safety and sustainability standards.

What you’ll be doing* Analyze and assess technical process-controlled requirements to support the successful delivery of projects and activities.

Develop and implement innovative, sustainable technical solutions that balance efficiency and feasibility.

Oversee the management, maintenance, and safe use of equipment, tools, and technical resources.

Act as the primary technical advisor, providing guidance on risks, alternatives, and improvement strategies.

Collaborate closely with internal and external experts, suppliers, and service partners.

Provide clear technical documentation and advice to non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all technical operations.

About You

You’re a technically strong, detail-oriented engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and supporting continuous improvement. You communicate clearly, think analytically, and enjoy working across disciplines to achieve shared goals.

You’ll bring:* A degree (or advanced study) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Automation Engineering.

Experience with automation software such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Beckhoff.

Proven problem-solving and analytical skills in a service and project-driven environment.

Ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.

A proactive and structured work style, with strong attention to quality and safety.

Excellent collaboration and advisory skills within multidisciplinary teams.

Commitment to continuous learning and innovation in engineering practice.
