Role: AI Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Location: Charlotte, NC ONLY (Local candidates)
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 WFH
Duration: Through end of year
Max Rate: $50/hr on W2 (strict cap)
Visa: Any visa (W2 only for this request)
Must-Have Skills
5+ yrs Automation Testing (API + Functional)
Strong Python or TypeScript
Deep API testing expertise
CI/CD, Git, Docker, AWS (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB)
Solid understanding of AI/ML testing concepts (LLMs, RAG, MCP, prompting)
Self-driven, highly communicative, curious mindset
Nice to Have
Financial services / banking domain
Salesforce, Genesys IVR
Experience reviewing PRs / merge feedback
CODING ASSESSMENT (Mandatory) Candidate must complete ONE assessment within 48 hours:

Coding assessment review
30–60 min Zoom technical interview
Possible 2nd round (Zoom or onsite)
