Job Title: Software Engineer - Azure DevOps
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: Fully Remote
Required Pay Scale: $75-80/hr

Job Summary: A Software Development Engineer specializing in Azure DevOps pipeline development designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains DevOps systems, applications, networks, and/or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. Assesses system, application, network, and/or telecom needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies. Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.
Project Details:
Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and DevOps systems to support business objectives
Assess system, application, network, and telecom needs; provide modeling and simulation guidance to clarify technology functionality
Evaluate, recommend, and implement new and emerging technologies
Ensure compliance with established technology standards and best practices
Consult with senior leadership on technical solutions and system architecture decisions
Support and maintain existing production systems and DevOps environments
Lead technical components of projects, including task delegation and resource assignment to meet deliverables
Collaborate with internal teams and external clients (Fiserv), including periodic travel for client engagement
Must Haves
8+ years of recent, hands-on Azure DevOps pipeline development experience
8+ years of full-time Agile methodology experience (SAFe preferred)
Desired Skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Strong experience writing Azure DevOps pipelines using YAML and/or Python
Familiarity with Azure Government (GovCloud) regions and compliance requirements
Understanding of Federal Zero Trust security architecture principles
Broad familiarity with Azure services, platforms, and infrastructure resources
