Matrix One is seeking a Frontend Engineer in the Greater Paris region, to further the growth of its suite of software products. Matrix One enables medical devices companies to Design - Connect - Launch their devices for fast certification and global compliance. Responsibilities
Develop React components and user interfaces based on UI/UX designs.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Develop backend rest end points as necessary.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
Write automated unit and integration tests.
Support testing and documentation.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Participate in Code Review and other activities as required.
Work with team members to design innovative software programs that improve and simplify experience for customers
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
2 – 5 years of experience in frontend development.
Hands-on experience with React.
Proficiency in web HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/Typescript.
Experience with design frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Shadcn etc is preferred.
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Some backend experience is preferred, specifically in Spring Boot/Java.
Working knowledge on project management tools such as JIRA.
Competency with version control on GIT
Proficiency in writing technical documentation
