You join a software team responsible for processing and consolidating railway infrastructure data (lines, tracks, signals, switches) and building unified graph representations.
These systems feed both planning tools and real-time traffic monitoring platforms, essential for safe and efficient train operations.
You will be involved in a mixed Agile/Scrum environment, working full-time on a five-year mission located in the Brussels area.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Design \& Implementation
Analyse business, functional, and technical requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios
Estimate and maintain effort planning for each scenario
Develop automated test scripts for:
Desktop fat client applications (JavaFX)
Backend RESTful services
Angular-based web interfaces
Structure, maintain, and version automated tests in Git repositories
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Perform code reviews and document architectural and technical decisions
Coach team members on automation tools, processes, and best practices
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies
Software Quality Assurance
Execute automated test suites and report results across multiple environments (DEV, INT, TST, ACC, EDU, PROD)
Perform manual testing when automation is not yet implemented
Document defects, anomalies, and regressions, and track them through to closure
Profil recherché
Required Technical Skills
ISTQB CTAL-TAE certification
Minimum 5 years testing fat-client applications
Minimum 5 years testing web applications
Minimum 2 years using TestComplete
Minimum 2 years with Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent tools
Minimum 2 years using Postman
Strong hands-on experience with:
Linux, bash scripting
Python, C#, or Java
SQL
Git
CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
XML, XSD, JSON, gRPC
Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum
Language Requirements
French or Dutch: C2 in at least one national language
Other national language: minimum B1
English: minimum B2
