Job Title: Front-End Website Developer

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Unit 11, Headcorn Business Centre, Maidstone Road, Headcron, Kent, TN27 9PJ

Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a talented Front-End Website Developer who is passionate about delivering excellent user experiences, and has a comprehensive knowledge of SEO best practices and front-end design/development skills. You will work closely within manufacturers product listing guidelines to create pages that are visually appealing, enhanced for customer experience whilst being SEO-optimised.

Core Responsibilities:

Implement designs within the capabilities of our bespoke operating platform, collaborating closely with developers.

Ensure all pages and components are SEO-friendly (structure, metadata, schema/structured data, internal linking, performance).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Content, Development, Product Loading, Sales and Customer Service)

Monitor and optimise page speed, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance.

Conduct user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and iterate designs based on insights and analytics.

Stay up to date on design, UX, SEO, and front-end development trends and best practices; share recommendations with the team.

Core Skills:

Portfolio demonstrating responsive web development and front-end implementation.

Hands-on experience loading products to an e-commerce site, creating content, creating landing pages, creating links

Proficiency in understanding elements of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and common libraries/frameworks as relevant

Solid understanding of SEO principles (on-page SEO, meta tags, structured data, crawlability, page speed).

Familiarity with performance optimisation, accessibility standards and responsive best practices

Experience with user research, usability testing, and analytics tools (e.g., AHREFS,Google Analytics)

Strong communication skills.

High attention to detail with a user-first mindset.

Desirable Additional Skills:

Understanding of back-end systems/content architecture.

Graphics Creation

Experience with DRIP would be an advantage
