We are seeking a passionate and driven Database Engineer to join our growing Data Management Initiative, supporting the expansion of driven data pipelines that power the Quantic product. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to tackle real-world data integration challenges and gain hands-on experience with modern databases, SQL development, and semantic data modeling.
You will work independently build reliable data pipelines, design and optimize SQL queries, and transform raw data into semantically rich structures that drive personalization, analytics, and AI use cases.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop scalable database schemas and data pipelines to ingest, transform, and enrich data from multiple sources.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data integration, reporting, and analytics in support of Quantic’s data-driven features.
Collaborate with application engineers to align datasets
Implement data transformations and mappings to ensure semantic consistency and high data quality.
Contribute to frameworks for metadata tagging, entity resolution, and relationship extraction.
Maintain and monitor data quality, observability, and reliability across extended data workflows.
Support the deployment of semantic data use cases such as semantic search, skill inference, and personalized recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of databases and SQL (query design, joins, performance tuning, etc.).
Interest in data modeling, data pipelines, or semantic technologies (ontologies, taxonomies, knowledge graphs).
Coursework, internships, or personal projects related to data engineering, database management, or data science are a plus.
Additional Details
This position is fully onsite, requiring presence five days per week at our West Chester/Exton, PA headquarter.
