We’re looking for a driven and technically skilled leader to take on the role of Product Technical Support Manager within the Horizontal Mill PG. This is a pivotal position responsible for managing technical support activities across our product and project portfolio, ensuring we deliver world-class solutions to our global customer base.

You’ll join a high-performing, collaborative team that brings together product engineering, design, and field support expertise. Working closely with our global engineering network, manufacturing, and service teams, you’ll help ensure that Metso’s horizontal mill products continue to meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. The role offers broad exposure across the full product lifecycle - from concept and design through to field performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technical support team and ensure Tier 1 engineering competence.

Provide expert guidance on product engineering, safety, manufacturability, and operability.

Resolve in-warranty breakdowns, incident investigations, and non-conformance cases.

Own manufacturing specifications and ancillary equipment requirements.

Support strategic sales cases and customer presentations.

Facilitate field feedback and contribute to product strategy development.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in technical support or engineering leadership.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and product lifecycle.

Experience with heavy manufacturing processes inc. fabrication, casting and gearing desirable

Grinding mill engineering experience highly desirable

Ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, and project teams.

Passion for continuous improvement and best practice implementation.
