Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer in the Cloud \& AI team you will:
Work with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver compelling new features.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and support large scale distributed software services and solutions.
Troubleshoot and optimize test automation, reliability, performance, and monitoring for production services.
Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews.
Conduct technical reviews to assure Microsoft's quality, security and compliance standards are met.
Participate in on-call rotations and postmortem reviews to improve service resilience.
Develop “best-in-class” engineering for our services by ensuring that components are well-defined, modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable.
Promote automation in production and deployment processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Math, Engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience with one or more modern programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, Python, Rust, C/C++, C#.
Experience in one or more of the following is a positive:

- Systems administration and system-level programming

- Virtualization and hypervisor engineering

- OS engineering
*
- Network engineering
*
- HPC systems
*
- AI engineering
