Quality Engineer
Solo midocean is the largest player in the personalized Clothing \& Gifts industry in Europe, dedicated to delivering custom design products to our vast network of distributors. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team for support the development \& implementation.
Key Responsibility：
Ensure all production are conducted in line with company’s quality policies
Manage and follow up on quality report, coordinate of inspection, bookings, testing preparation, quotation, and invoice follow up
Manage BOMs, technical sheet and related technical documents before shipment
Test failure analysis and follow up recommendations to suppliers
Collaborate with QA in Europe, internal stakeholders, manufacturers, and suppliers for continuous enhancement of quality and safety standards
Act as a contact point between the EU Production team and suppliers for all quality/ technical related products categories
Perform and implement factory evaluation, review CAPs and provide recommendations of improvements to suppliers
Support social compliance and sustainability team for data collection
Perform ad-hoc work assigned by the supervisor
Education and Experience
Higher diploma or above. in science related disciplines e.g. Quality Management, Chemistry, Electronic Engineering related field or equivalent professional industrial, technical experiences
1-3 years working experience in third party testing Labs, buying office, working with consumer products (Less experience will also be considered)
Experienced in Electrical/Electronic, Toys, Food contact, Personal Protective Equipment, Cosmetic, Textile or Stationery products is preferred
Knowledge CE, test standards or requirements is preferred
Knowledge in REACH, EN71, RoHS, EMC, RED, LVD, Food contact, PPE, Cosmetic, CLP, MDR would be an advantage
Knowledge in BSCI/SMETA, FSC, OEKO-TEX, GRS/RCS, GOTS/OCS would be an advantage
Requirements:
Good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong computer skills including Excel, Microsoft Office, and database
Able to work under pressure with multiple concurrent tasks
Good command of spoken and written Cantonese, English and Mandarin
Travel is required
Immediate availability would be an advantage
