Assists and takes direction from other product team members in understanding customer needs and
specifying requirements for a MiTek software product in alignment with the product vision. Works with
software developers and SQA to determine solutions and ensure that the targeted customer needs are
met. Provides technical support assistance and training on new features and functionality.
Roles, Responsibilities \& Typical Activities
1. Working on MiTek, a desktop CAD software for timber engineering, to model and design
prefabricated solutions optimized for manufacturing efficiency.
2. Capture customer needs via user stories \& system requirements.
3. Collaborate with Dev teams (Vietnam, Europe) to deliver timely and cost-effective solutions.
4. Represent the voice of the customer and stakeholders when answering questions from the Dev and
QA team.
5. Assist with product and team backlog maintenance. Contribute to product discovery efforts with
customers and other stakeholders.
6. Support the team to troubleshoot issues.
7. Log and report bugs.
8. Follow MiTek best practices in agile software development.
9. Learn continuously about the industry, the product and product development, applying that learning
to improve self and team.
10. Up to two days a week: work a few hours in the evening to co-ordinate with European team members
via online meetings.
11. Willingly support other projects if needed
Your Skills and Experience
3+ years’ experience in product ownership, technical business
analysis, project management or software production
Proficiency in English
Experience in using and evaluating software products
Experience with Agile methods and tools
Knowledge of CAD software is a plus
Knowledge of structural engineering is a plus
Knowledge of Home Building industry, processes, or software a
plus
Knowledge of Machinery file formats, Component Manufacturing,
or related software is a plus
Soft skills:

Experience in working with teams to build software products is a
