Trade Account Manager

Mitre 10 MEGA Wanaka is a dynamic and fast-growing company with a vision to provide a high level of customer service and expertise to our customers in Wanaka and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Trade team that has been awarded "Mitre 10 Trade Store of the Year" numerous times.

Working closely with the entire Trade Team this is a key role in the relationship between customers and the business and requires a broad skill set and ability to engage with both internal and external customers. This role will be responsible with engaging with trade account customers and ensuring the delivery of their building material needs. This role is multi-faceted, fast paced and requires someone who is dynamic and has the talent and ability to establish customer’s requirements and liaise with suppliers and internal personnel to deliver exceptional Customer Experiences.

You will bring;

Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

Demonstrated sales/account management experience in a technical environment

Demonstrated ability to pursue and secure new business

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

A very strong attention to detail and accuracy

Intermediate computer/keyboard skills and ability to learn new systems and software

A true focus on customer service

Good multi-tasking skills and ability to learn and understand new products

Ability to problem-solve and maintain high customer standards under pressure

Organisation and time management skills

Knowledge of building products and the sector is desirable, but not a requirement if you are willing and capable of learning technical product

This is a full-time permanent role Monday-Friday. There is some flexibility around work hours and this can be discussed with the successful candidate.
