Senior Software Engineer - Cross-Chain Intent-Driven DEX
Location: Remote
Compensation: $140K - $160K
We are a pioneering Web3 infrastructure lab developing intent-based liquidity layers that enable seamless cross-chain interactions. Our mission is to connect AI, services, and financial applications in a real-time, automated world. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to spearhead the development of a high-performance frontend and SDK for our cross-chain decentralized exchange (DEX).
In this role, you will leverage technologies like multi-party computation (MPC), chain signatures, and secure enclaves to bridge the gap between EVM and non-EVM chains. You will work at the intersection of business logic and technical execution, collaborating with protocol teams and designers to build a platform where "smart contracts breathe and AI transacts."
Key Responsibilities:
User Experience: Translate complex financial instruments into intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces.
Performance: Optimize user interactions down to the millisecond for a "blazing-fast" experience.
Architecture: Design, test, and implement resilient state machines for managing Request for Quote (RFQ) flows.
Developer Tooling: Create a world-class SDK to allow other DApps to integrate with our infrastructure.
Observability: Implement deep tracing and observability to monitor and improve user flows in real-time.
Requirements
We are looking for a veteran engineer who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and enjoys building from the ground up.
Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping successful products.
Web3 Expertise: Deep familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies is essential.
Frontend Mastery: Expert-level React and Next.js skills, with a strong sense for UI/UX and design.
Technical Stack: Proficiency with TypeScript, Xstate (for state management), and Wagmi.
Cross-Platform: Ability to code seamlessly across multiple form factors (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop) using React Native where applicable.
Code Quality: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to clean, organized, and maintainable codebases.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
Benefits
Innovation-First Culture: Work on the cutting edge of MPC, secure enclaves, and intent-based architecture.
Autonomy: Join at an early stage where you define both how the application looks and how it works.
Dynamic Team: Collaborate with a professional, result-oriented, and fun team of experts in AI and cryptography.
Growth: Opportunity to help build a category-defining product in the NEAR ecosystem from day one.
Remote Flexibility: Work from wherever you are most productive while staying synced with a global team.
