Product Manager – Multi-User Voice Chat App
Responsibilities
Oversee the overall planning and iteration of a multi-user voice chat product, including core features such as room systems, user interaction mechanics, and social relationship networks.
Deeply analyze user needs and usage scenarios to design room atmospheres and interaction mechanisms between hosts and listeners.
Conduct product data analysis, focusing on key metrics such as user retention, room activity, and monetization conversion rates; continuously optimize user experience.
Work closely with the engineering team to drive product progress.
Research competitors’ products, extract successful features, and innovate on gameplay.
Design monetization features including virtual gift systems, user level and growth systems, and premium membership privileges.
Requirements
3+ years of internet product experience, with at least 1 year in voice-based social or live-streaming products.
Familiar with real-time audio and video technologies; understand how latency, audio quality, and concurrency affect user experience.
Strong grasp of the social dynamics within voice chat rooms; capable of designing mechanisms that foster active user interaction.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to validate product hypotheses through A/B testing and similar methods.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with technical teams.
Prior experience in voice-based social products is preferred.
Bonus Points
Experience with voice social, podcast, or audio content platforms.
Familiarity with Gen-Z user behavior and preferences.
Experience building a product from 0 to 1.
Salary Range: SGD 5,000 – 8,000.
