Job Overview

We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to drive reliability, security, and delivery across our hybrid cloud environment. You’ll partner with engineering, security, and product teams to build and operate scalable CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and observability platforms spanning AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-On Development

o  Own and operate hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, focusing on secure, scalable, and cost-effective environments.

o  Design, implement, and maintain IAM/PIM policies and guardrails, including least-privilege access, break-glass procedures, and role-based access.

o  Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket Pipelines and GitHub Actions, enabling automated testing, quality gates, artifact management, and environment management.

o  Develop, review, and execute automation scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar) to streamline infrastructure and platform operations.

o  Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform (modules, workspaces, remote state, policy as code, drift detection).

o  Integrate SonarQube into pipelines for static code analysis and quality gates, maintaining standards and coverage thresholds.

o  Set up and operate observability with Grafana (logs, metrics, traces), integrating with data sources (e.g., Prometheus, Loki, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) and creating actionable dashboards and alerts.

o  Leverage Datadog for targeted monitoring needs; maintain basic integrations, monitors, and dashboards.

o  Administer Jira and Confluence, including user/account management, groups/permissions, project workflows, and space governance.

o  Collaborate with developers and QA to improve build/test speed, artifact governance, and release reliability.

o  Contribute to documentation, runbooks, diagrams, and knowledge sharing.

2.    Innovation \& Continuous Improvement

o  Stay updated with emerging trends related to your role.

o  Advocate for process improvements, tooling, and automation to boost team productivity.

Qualifications and Skills

Demonstrated experience operating workloads in both AWS and Azure.

Strong IAM expertise: AWS IAM, Azure AD/Entra ID, PIM, role design, conditional access, and key/secrets management.

Proven CI/CD experience with Bitbucket Pipelines and GitHub Actions (matrix builds, reusable workflows, environment protection rules).

Experience with scripting in at least one of: Bash, Python, PowerShell.

Terraform proficiency: module design, state management, CI integration, and environment segregation.

Grafana experience across logs, metrics, and traces; alerting and dashboarding best practices.

Familiarity with Datadog fundamentals (agents, monitors, dashboards, log pipelines).

SonarQube integration within CI/CD pipelines and enforcement of quality gates.

Practical Jira and Confluence administration: user/group management, workflow schemes, permissions, and space/page governance.

Understanding of networking (VPC/VNet, peering, VPN/ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, DNS, load balancing), containerization (Docker).

Familiar with deployment of AI models (MLOps / MLflow).

Nice to Have

·      Kubernetes/EKS/AKS operations
