Akkodis is seeking

Python Developer

for a

Contract job

with a client in

Jersey City, NJ/Plano, TX(Hybrid).

Responsibilities include hands-on application development to support regulatory capital reporting and collaborating with multiple technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to a strategic platform.

Rate Range:

$65/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer Job Responsibilities Include

Developing and maintaining applications to support regulatory capital reporting, ensuring compliance with Basel rules.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and migrate to a scalable and sustainable capital reporting platform.

Writing optimized and efficient Python code for data processing, performance tuning, and system integration.

Implementing data source elements and business logic for calculating risk-weighted assets and generating Basel rules-based capital ratios.

Troubleshooting, debugging, and perform performance profiling for data-intensive applications.

Ensuring high-quality code through testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in Python development, with 4+ years in big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop.

Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of data-intensive applications.

Experience with SQL programming, preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata.

Pay Details:

$65.00 to $68.00 per hour
