Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Product Manager to take ownership of a defined product portfolio, driving growth, innovation, and commercial performance. In this role, you will manage the full product lifecycle—from new product development and renovations to pricing and portfolio optimisation—working closely with sourcing, supply chain, marketing, insights, and sales teams to meet business objectives and maintain high product standards.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy \& Innovation: Lead NPD and EPD projects to deliver products that are profitable and aligned with patient and practitioner needs.
Market \& Competitor Insights: Monitor category, consumer, and competitor trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
Pricing \& Commercial Performance: Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and company margin goals.
Quality \& Compliance: Own the commercial responsibility for product quality and collaborate with QA and operations to address issues.
Pipeline Management: Ensure a balanced portfolio by managing short-term renovations alongside long-term innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in product or category management, ideally within FMCG, pharma, or a related sector.
Track record of delivering NPD and EPD projects on time and on budget.
Strong commercial acumen with a patient- and practitioner-focused approach.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance immediate priorities and long-term growth.
Analytical and capable of turning data into actionable insights.
Collaborative, with experience working across sourcing, supply chain, marketing, and sales teams.
Skilled in project management, capable of delivering multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Resilient, accountable, and entrepreneurial.
