Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Full Stack Engineer for a 12-month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of technical design proposals and communicate complex features and system architectures clearly and effectively.
Collaborate closely with product, design, support, and other cross-functional teams to define, review, and refine project specifications.
Design, implement, and thoroughly test (including unit and end-to-end testing) complex project features, ensuring timely delivery within project deadlines.
Develop and design front-end interfaces, APIs, and backend systems using various programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP (Hack), and Python.
Build and enhance consumer products and features at a large scale, ensuring scalability and performance.
Adhere to and master Meta’s development standards, from coding to release, to handle increasingly complex tasks and projects.
Work in close partnership with Product, Platform, and Operations teams to develop and scale a fully automated operational platform.
Requirements:
Over 3 years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for full-stack projects with industry-wide impact, demonstrating strong delivery and quality.
Proven ability to communicate effectively across functions, collaborate with and influence senior engineers, and drive large-scale cross-functional engineering initiatives.
Extensive experience in designing, developing, and delivering complex projects within established timelines, ensuring high standards of quality.
Proficiency with decentralized source control tools like Git and Mercurial in large, collaborative team environments, along with expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Strong background in developing enterprise-grade products, optimizing large SQL queries, and working with multiple programming languages in production environments.
Preferred candidates will have relevant STEM degrees, experience in privacy or advertising products, and a track record of building scalable, high-quality solutions.
