Job Description

Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Software Engineer (Partner Engineer) for a 12-month contract for our client, a leading Multinational Technology company.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product engineering, partnerships, and cross‑functional teams to design new features and enhance existing ones.

Apply knowledge of products, technologies, and business models to deliver solutions that scale effectively.

Architect and implement end‑to‑end systems while supporting go‑to‑market strategies.

Build strong relationships with partners, using both technical and interpersonal skills to address complex challenges.

Deliver high‑quality integrations and partner engagements, while shaping product direction to align with business needs.

Drive workflow improvements, secure stakeholder alignment, and guide teams toward practical solutions.

Maintain clear communication channels with industry partners and internal stakeholders.

Support partners in developing long‑term strategies tied to business objectives and oversee integrations to ensure mutual value creation.

Mentor peers, foster collaboration, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and act promptly on feedback received.

Present data‑driven insights to influence decision‑making.

Serve as a subject matter expert within Partner Engineering, offering guidance on domain‑specific projects.

Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members.

Willingness to travel as required by team or function.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

With Strong 5+ years of relevant experience in client‑facing or partner‑facing roles, with strong communication skills.

Proficiency in open‑source languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or JavaScript frameworks.

Strong background in software design and architecture.

Experience working with large‑scale data capture and analytics to guide decisions and measure impact.

Genuine interest in the video games industry.

Exposure to emerging technologies and a passion for continuous learning.

Contributions to open‑source projects or shared code repositories.

Experience working in collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environments.

Familiarity with developer and platform documentation.

Background in managing multi‑person codebases, whether open source or personal projects.
