About the Role

Join a young, dynamic, and fast-growing team as our Global Project Manager NPD. We’re looking for a highly organized person to oversee the development of our products while ensuring they meet all relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards. You’ll be analysing new product categories, crafting new product briefs, running the creation of these products with our brand and design teams, keeping these projects on time and ensuring all the local regulatory compliance and certifications are acquired before manufacturing.

You’ll work closely with our New Zealand and Asia based factories to develop our products and formulations to be best-in-class. You’ll work closely with MOXX founders and the Design, Marketing and Operations teams to deliver a robust and innovative product pipeline for our brands. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven track record in product management, who thrives on research and analysing specific requirements and is excited to make a real impact and shape the future of our brands.

Responsibilities

Run competitive and market analysis of new product areas to set our pricing, cost of goods and SKU strategy for NPD

Collaborate with our factories and regulatory specialists to ensure compliance is considered throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that new products and features meet all regulatory requirements across different markets / retailers

Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks during product development, staying up-to-date on relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards

Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies as required

Draft briefs for our factories for new brand/product development with all requirements, target COGs and key project milestones

Build and oversee the timeline for all new product development and then work with our Brand and Design teams to develop high quality products to this timeline

Communicate to the business any delays and provide solutions and implications for any issues

Oversee and sign off with our factory all required testing including transit, age and performance testing

Review new products with our Design Manager at each step to ensure product excellence and alignment with brief and requirements

This role will require travel to Asia intermittently throughout the year.

Who's a good fit?

3-7 years’ experience in Project Management or Product Management - experience in FMCG an advantage

A passion for product development and research

Impeccable project management skills being highly organized with strong attention to detail

Strong communication skills to manage external and internal stakeholders

Can learn fast, be adaptable, solve problems and manage multiple tasks

Highly proactive and loves problem solving
