The Digital Brand Manager will lead the business’s digital transformation by developing and delivering the digital marketing strategy across website, social, email and paid media, champion the customer experience and work with Marketing, Sales, IT, Technical and Regulatory teams to create and implement digital plans that support brand and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
Own digital strategy and campaign delivery for the Livestock Business Unit, including channels, content and tactics
Drive market-share growth, sustainable sales and profitability using insight into company strategy, customer needs and market trends
Manage advertising and marketing budgets and lead product/range improvements and new-product introductions
Collaborate with Brand Managers to identify cross-portfolio opportunities and maximise results across Livestock brands
Operate effectively in a matrix environment with local, regional and global teams (sales, customer services, R\&D/technical, finance, procurement, supply chain)
What You Will Do
Other Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
Marketing and Promotions
Lead the digital strategy aligned to brand and business plans
Deliver digital marketing across website, SEO/SEM, email, social, influencer and paid channels
Improve website UX and oversee development of digital applications
Define social media strategy and run digital activations for trade and consumer events
Plan and run lead-generation and lead-management campaigns
Mentor the marketing team and oversee creative asset production with a customer-journey focus
Report campaign performance against KPIs and ROI and help manage marketing spend
Brand Management
Lead marketing initiatives and develop brand plans for assigned ranges that support company strategy and drive sales
Use market research to inform strategy and evaluate campaigns
Identify cross-portfolio opportunities with BioPharma, Identification and Technology teams
Own product management: liaise with Technical/R\&D on pipeline, champion range improvements and new product introductions and contribute to product evaluation
Digital
Coordinate marketing activity with sales, key accounts, agencies and internal teams and manage creation of marketing materials (advertising, POS)
Lead sell-in promotions, support trade and consumer events and capture customer insight with the sales team
Keep current with marketing trends, leverage digital platforms and develop influencer campaigns with industry groups
Maintain promotional spend within budget and forecast variances
What You Must have
Proven experience developing and executing digital strategies and multi-channel campaigns
Up to date with digital marketing trends, measurement and optimisation best practice
Experience with email automation platforms (eg Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Skilled in setting KPIs, monitoring performance and optimising campaigns
Experience in Animal Health or knowledge of agriculture/farming systems preferred but not essential
Strong collaborator, able to work across departments and demonstrate leadership competencies
Creative flair with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
