Job Description

Job Expectations

Build your career and Australia’s future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

A bit about your role

As the Assistant Product Manager Satellite, you’ll be an integral part of the satellite product team, support managing existing products and the successful launch of nbn’s new Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellite Solution while helping to guide the thoughtful transition away from the existing Sky Muster platform. Reporting to the Executive Manager Satellite Programs and CX, you’ll contribute across the satellite portfolio, assisting with product development, trials, migration planning and product withdrawal activities. Your work will help ensure regional and remote communities continue to receive reliable connectivity as we evolve our satellite offerings.

This is a role where your voice matters. You’ll be encouraged to bring fresh thinking and a collaborative spirit to a team that values curiosity, care and continuous learning. Whether you’re a recent graduate or have up to five years’ experience, you’ll be supported to grow your skills and make a meaningful impact in a team that thrives on purpose and shared success.

A bit about you

You’re someone who brings a thoughtful and organised approach to your work, with a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to simplify complexity. You’re confident using Excel and PowerPoint, or willing to build your skills further, and you’re comfortable working with data and reporting tools like Tableau or macros. You enjoy designing processes that help teams work more effectively and you’re motivated by solving problems and seeing things through.

You communicate clearly and kindly, and you’re energised by working with others in a virtual team environment. You’re a self-starter who takes initiative, but you also know the value of listening and learning from those around you. With a degree in business, marketing, IT, engineering or telecommunications, you’re ready to take the next step in your career with a company that’s committed to connecting Australia and supporting your growth every step of the way.
