What are you going to do?
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing a clear product strategy and vision for the solutions within the Cow Monitoring Platform (Nedap CowControl - Dairy Farming). This will enable us to create scalable solutions that add value for dairy farmers worldwide. You will work based on the shared ambition of our Livestock business unit and connect colleagues from sales, R\&D and support to make clear choices together.
You translate market insights and technological developments into a roadmap that provides direction and clarity in a dynamic playing field. You make choices explicit, substantiate them with a business case and ensure support. In this way, you help to make our solutions valuable in practice more quickly and effectively.
Your responsibilities
You take the lead in the process of making decisions about strategy, solutions and roadmaps;
You own the roadmap and ensure consistency and direction in the development of the platform;
You facilitate and stimulate dialogue between colleagues from different disciplines and encourage them to critically examine assumptions;
You ensure that new insights from the market and technology are assessed for strategy fit, profitability and feasibility, and translate these into product decisions;
You make our portfolio clear and help to make our focus and positioning explicit;
You work closely with the solution owner (technical releases) and commercial teams (market launches);
You monitor commercial releases and launches and ensure that they reinforce each other.
Your team
Within Product \& Portfolio Management (PPM), you will work on the core of our product strategy and the portfolio of our solutions. PPM forms the connecting link between market, technology and business. The team consists of three streams: Cow Monitoring Platform, Integrated Farm Solutions and Business Support. Together, the Product Managers ensure that our solutions and roadmaps fit together seamlessly and reinforce each other.
You will work closely with colleagues from the broader Strategy \& Business Transformation group, which also includes Business Transformation, Pricing \& Revenue Management and Market Intelligence. In addition, you will have intensive contact with international colleagues and partners who are close to our end users in the focus countries, as well as with account managers, solution owners and product owners. In this way, we harness the full power of Nedap to better support our customers every day.

Required experience and skills
At least 5 years of experience in guiding strategic decision-making in a multidisciplinary context;
Skilled in connecting commerce, support and R\&D;
The ability to translate customer insights and partner feedback into clear solutions;
A structured way of working; you know how to make choices visual and understandable;
Experience in drawing up business cases, including financial substantiation;
Experience with go-to-market strategy and connecting technical delivery with market introductions;
You maintain an overview, think in scenarios and provide direction without dominating.
