Role Overview:
We are looking for a
DevOps
Engineer
to join our team and help us deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. Hybrid model: 50% on-site at client offices (Arturo Soria).
What you will do:
Designing, building, and maintaining our core infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Automating our operations and deployment workflows using GitOps practices and tools like Terraform.
Operating, scaling, and ensuring the reliability of our production services running in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Managing and troubleshooting our critical distributed systems, including (but not limited to) our Apache Kafka and Apache Flink clusters
Developing software and tooling in Go and/or Java to improve system observability, automation, and operational efficiency.
Creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation in English, ensuring our systems are well?understood and maintainable.
Collaborating with product engineering teams to define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and ensure new features are built with reliability in mind.
What you are like:
+5 years
of experience in a Site Reliability, DevOps, or Software Engineering role with a focus on infrastructure.
Strong proficiency with
Google Cloud Platform
(GCP) and deep, hands-on experience with
Kubernetes
(GKE preferred).
Solid programming skills and professional experience with
Go or Java
. You should be comfortable writing, reviewing, and shipping production code.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using
Terraform
and a strong understanding of GitOps principles.
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience managing and operating complex distributed systems, particularly with messaging queues like Apache Kafka.
A true open-source lover; you appreciate and contribute to the community and prefer open standards.
Expert-level proficiency in Linux or macOS environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in
English
, with a knack for writing clear and concise documentation.
A systematic, problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive. Nice to Have (Bonus Points)
Experience with stream-processing frameworks like Apache Flink.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration engines like Uber Cadence or its open-source successor, Temporal.
Deep experience with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry).
Contributions to open-source projects (please share your GitHub/GitLab profile!).
Experience building and maintaining
CI/CD
pipelines (e.g., with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD).
